GFEP was created with the goal of integrating and strengthening field epidemiology training programs around the world. This international partnership aims to institutionalize Field Epidemiology programs, recognize technical competencies, and create career pathways for epidemiologists, as well as foster the exchange of best practices and the development of innovative solutions for public health.

ProEpi is proud to be part of it.

GFEP’s Theory of Change and Its Place in the Global Health Architecture

The Global Field Epidemiology Partnership (GFEP) is a global network of partners that enables its member institutions to engage, collaborate, and contribute in a coordinated way to address the many challenges faced by the field epidemiology community worldwide.

See GFEP’s Theory of Change and how it fits into the Global Health Architecture.

Mission

The GFEP brings together a network of national, regional, and global stakeholders, mobilizes technical and financial resources, and advocates for the expansion and integration of field epidemiology capacities into national health systems.

Vision

All countries have robust field epidemiology capacities to protect the health of their populations and contribute to global health security.
